Getting to the World Stick Museum

photograph of a family of four entering the museum. The father, in a cream knitted jumper and olive trousers, holds open a glass door that swings outward. A mother in a tweed blazer and jeans, carrying a woven straw bag, follows him with their two young children—a girl in a brown pinafore and a boy in a quilted navy jacket. The museum's exterior is a blend of modern concrete and warm vertical wood panelling. Flanking the entrance are large, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and two tall, hand-carved wooden totems. Inside the glass, various walking sticks and crooks are on display.
